Great location with a historical ambience ...

The castle gets all five, the great view is just the right place for a spontaneous short Sunday excursion. We weren't in the tavern because delicious homemade cakes were waiting at home. There is also a nice walk and fun. Lg

Very nice waitresses, good cakes, wild garlic bratwurst was delicious, the normal bratwurst was not our taste. Light, cozy room.

Unfortunately, I cannot rate the food, drinks and service of the Burgschänke as it was closed. But it makes a very clean and tidy impression. There are enough signs to comply with the Corona rules.

Everything selfmade. Whether the potato salad or the cooked cheese or other things. Small but fine menu for hungry day trippers and hikers. The service was very, very friendly and had a lot of fun at work. We felt we were in good hands.

Restaurant and check-in to visit the castle all in one. Wonderful, nice service lady waitresses don't have time to rest and hustle and bustle like bees, we felt like a VIP. Many thanks.

Very good, home-style, regional cuisine, at a very reasonable price. The food is very good and plentiful. The menu is small but regional, the selection is comparable to a hiking restaurant. The service staff is very friendly and helpful. The ambience in the castle courtyard gives the whole finishing touch. I can only recommend seeing the castle and eating something there.

Unfortunately the bar was closed, so I couldn't really get an idea. I found the castle very beautiful.

Unfortunately, the castle and the castle tavern are closed due to construction work. A visit is still worthwhile to enjoy the beautiful view. According to the signs, it will open again at the end of May (today is May 31st) and it looks like it will still be closed in the next few days.

Absolutely thrilled, this small inn offers hikers and cyclists an ideal place to rest! Value for money is okay ... And if you are in the area, the visit to the castle is absolutely mandatory!

Small but fine selection of dishes. I had the Kochkäs, and was thrilled. Delicious! Friendly service, and very kid friendly. I look forward to the next visit
